Para‐Medical Courses
Paramedical services are those services where professionals help the doctors in specialized areas and facilities for better diagnosis, treatment and therapy. The increasing demand of skilled para-medical professionals has opened up several career opportunities for young aspirants in India as well as abroad. Professionals like pharmacists, physiotherapists, nurses, medical laboratory technologist, optometrist, speech therapist, etc. support the doctor in treatment of the ever increasing number of patients.
2 Year full course consists of 18 chapters (9+9 each year), with on screen teaching and practical materials for all subjects. Passed out candidates may join various medical sectors including hospitals, clinics, medical laboratory, research team, blood bank, diagnostic division etc.
2 year full course consists of all the chapters in X‐ray, imaging, ultrasound, CT, MRI etc. Passed out candidates may join any hospitals, scan centers, clinics, and every place where Radio‐diagnostic services are present.
2 year full course in operation theater technology & a part of anesthesia technology. The passed out candidates are eligible to apply for the job in any of the private sector hospitals and clinics, nursing home (where Operation Theater is available).
A new post created by the skill sector council, government of India. It is one year full course as per the government, in the field of medical laboratory. The passed out candidates may join the hospitals, clinics, nursing home, hi‐tech medical laboratories for the blood collection technique. The candidate may be able to collect all types of blood collection and basic processing of the sample.
It is two year course of basic nursing and general duties done by a nursing assistants. The name (GDA) has been created by the skill sector council, government of India. The passed out candidate may be able to join any nursing home, hospitals, clinics, big & small hospitals as GDA (the old name was nursing assistant).
This course is also 2 year basic course in pharmacy, as assistant to work in a pharmacy to help in selling medicines, helping in making inventory, check‐out the expiry medicines and all the work as helper in medical shop, clinic, hospital, nursing home etc.
